Has anyone done this?

I am thinking this might help with just detoxifying my body in general...especially after a really good HERX.

The thought of it makes me cringe.

Have any recommendations for cleanses?

TIA!

Please do a search here. You will find info on both. In my experience, colonics are a must, especially during detoxification. If the colon is clogged up as you see in the picture gallery here www.dr-natura.com, common sense will give you the answer. It is very difficult to ever get well with a colon that looks like that.

Take care.

Gigi...I think it's www.drnatura.com

Dallas....I've had them. It's not as bad as you think!

I've also used Dr Natura's products. Good stuff and easy to tolerate.

Probiotic high colonics are especially good for helping to clear out candida, so you don't have to herx from all the die-off. They are worth the trouble, in my opinion.

I too have to say that I've found them to be extremely beneficial in making progress. When my doctor mentioned me trying it, I read up on it and didn't think this sounded like something I wanted to do at all.

So I put it off and put it off, until I was feeling so toxic from a die off and totally constipated that I would have done anything. I continued on that path and for me personally, I feel it's been a key factor in getting me to where I am now.

No, it won't cure you alone, but it definitely helps a lot. And as my doctor told me, if you feel much worse the next day, you should go back in and do it again since it means it really stirred things up. Doesn't sound good, but it does work. Good luck.

There are 2 different kinds of colonic systems that I've experienced. One is a closed system, water goes in and out all contained in tubes. So it's not messy as one might think. The other - water goes in by tube and comes out, shall we say, naturally, into a sink that's under you while you're on the table. There was effort involved in this second one, and I had so much trouble, I'll spare you the details! I wouldn't ever do that kind again.

But the closed system kind is great.
