I was wondering if you can tell the difference from a really long herx and a setback?
I have felt poorly for a couple weeks now. I think it was started when I had to get a colonoscopy.
I think the prep really sent me into some sort of crisis. Just a guess though.
I was telling everyone who asked how I was doing that I am making slow improvement and was functioning at 50% instead of the 10% I was at when I first saw my LLMD.
Well I feel I might be at 20% right this minute.
My glands are huge. They have always indicated how I was doing, the worst I feel the bigger they get.
The pain is unbelieveable. Sweats and twitching like crazy.
The most worrisome is the brain fog is back. It had been gone for 2 months.
I am wondering if I could get aseptic menningitis again, even though I am on Biaxin/Plaq??
All I have been doing is sleeping, which I know is important, but I would like to see my Hubby at some point!
Thanks for any advice- Melissa Posted by mojo (Member # 9309) on :
Hi Merrygirl:
I would guess you are having a temporary setback due to the trauma on the body (mostly the prep).
I still get setbacks and I'm a year and a half into treatment. Still need a nap everyday too.
I had five very good days in a row and now today I feel crummy. I started a parasite cleanse this week so it may be die off.
It's very hard to tell sometimes, isn't it?
I hope you feel better soon. It sounds like you are listening to your body and doing the right thing by resting.

I had a setback as well. Have a sinus infection that is setting me back right now and before that I think I wasn't takeing enough lyme ABX with rifamin and it set me back as well. I was about 15% better now I am -10% Posted by merrygirl (Member # 12041) on :
Thanks for your advice as always.
The prep was very hard on me.
I wouldn't get that procedure again.

That Prep could have kicked out what good flora you had left in your GI tract.
