What is the general treatment time with doxy to get rid of Ehrlichiosis ?? Does anyone know of alternative treatment that works ?? Does it tend to come back later after long antibiotic treatment ?? [Razz]

I'm not exactly sure (I don't have erlichia) but I do know of a couple of people who have had it. As much as it is probably the most dangerous if left undiagnosed, it seems to be the easier bugger to treat.

Not an expert on Ehrlichia, but from what I have read this article is a pretty good summary and fairly accurate.

Thanks for the information. I am thinking and hoping the Doxy and tetracycline I have taken has killed this stuff. I do have improved/less symptoms since the antibiotics. I choose to take una de gato TID and Artemesinin BID with other supplements to keep lyme etc at bay while I take a break from antibiotics. I am new here and really respect you all for all the good info and opinions !!! You are great. xxxooo [Razz]
