I THINK it's brucellosis. Did you check Igenex's website?

There is a brucella antibodies test via labcorp. I did this test and it was negative. But I did an alternative screening called BioSet which found brucella. The blood test at Labcorp did not confirm this so I have no clue what to believe.

On the one hand, it's good to find out.

On the other hand, there are just so many treatments anyway. I think Doxy takes care of Bruscella.

I think I got rid of mine with several months of artemicin and lots of other good stuff.

Is brucellosis carried by the same ticks as Lyme as a coinfection? Where does it commonly occur? I think typically the treatment for brucella is Rifampin plus another antibiotic, but you might want to check on that.

I know someone in TX who contracted brucellosis in Europe by drinking unpasteurized dairy products. At least that's where she thinks she got it. She also had Lyme.

Once the brucellosis was treated, she was doing GREAT and back at work!

Thanks guys!

Everyone is always so helpful.

Trying to figure out if there is something else wrong with me I have'nt figured out yet.

I have lyme, babs and bart. I was sick a year prior to treatment. I was totally functional prior and now am not..I am a total painful bedridden mess.

Wanted to know if there was something else I am missing seeing as how I doing very aggressive treatment.

I have not done any cyline's or however you would put that class of antibiotics.

Thanks again everyone!!

hi sizzled,
could you help us all out ok?

would you use www.tinyurl.com by editing your 2 posts with the SUPER LONG addresses, and use tinyurl to get the small one, then paste it to the TWO threads with the WIDE addresses?

then delete the SUPER LONG ADDRESSES ON THOSE 2 POSTS, leaving the SHORT address instead.

this keeps the width normal vs. scrolling back an forth on each line.

to do this, click on pencil/paper icon, the nclick on your SUPER LONG 1st site..

copy that link,

now bring up a another open window, and click on tinyurl address above..

when it opens, paste in your long address where it calls for it,

and then bring the tiny one back to your other open window putting it in there, and deleting the LONG ONE.. click edit send when done

now go to the other one below it that is really long; do same procedure there.

thanks sizzled; more people can read this way using tinyurls! [group hug] [kiss]
