I'm new to the board. I have not been diagnosed with LD yet. But I am attempting to gather information to see if LD is what I may have.
Two LD tests have come back negative so far.
Did any of you, or do you, experience Numbness/Tingling in the Legs below the knees and hand Numbness/Tingling. It usually lasts all day, but is worse when my limbs are cold, and when I wake up in the morning? I also have what I would consider Brain Fogginess.
Any information would be appreciated.

Numbness and tingling is what sent me on a 5 year quest to find out what was wrong with me.
What kinds of tests did you have? You need a Western Blot, preferably by Igenex. See newbie links for much more information. There is a lot there, and may seem overwhelming, but go through it at your own pace.
Symptoms:
Unexplained fevers, sweats, chills, or flushing
Unexplained weight change (loss or gain -- circle one)
Fatigue, tiredness, poor stamina
Unexplained hair loss
Swollen glands: list areas _______________________________________________ Sore throat
Testicular pain/pelvic pain
Unexplained menstrual irregularity
Unexplained milk production; breast pain
Irritable bladder or bladder dysfunction
Sexual dysfunction or loss of libido Upset stomach or abdominal pain
Change in bowel function (constipation, diarrhea)
Chest pain or rib soreness
Shortness of breath, cough
Heart palpitations, pulse skips, heart block
Any history of a heart murmur or valve prolapse?
Joint pain or swelling: list joints _________________________________________________ Stiffness of the joints or back
Muscle pain or cramps Twitching of the face or other muscles
Headache
Neck creaks and cracks, neck stiffness, neck pain

Disturbed sleep -- too much, too little, fractionated, early awakening
Exaggerated symptoms or worse hangover from alcohol

Leg/hand numbness and tingling (eventually progressing to burning) was one of my first major symptoms, and it has always been more severe in the mornings and in the cold.
Brain fogginess can last all day though
I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing both.
Lyme testing is often unreliable, which is why Lyme is often a clinical diagnosis.
Over the years, I had countless tests for Lyme and all came back "negative"... It took a very astute and determined doc to figure out that I had other tick borne infections, and to point me in the direction of an LLMD. She ordered more specialized tests, and I tested positive by PCR.
Wish I could go back in time, and get straight to a doc who was experienced in tick borne diseases right at the start!

You CAN be seronegative and still have Lyme. Go to a LLMD and find out*)!**)!!!!!!!!!

Like gramma and cactus, numbness in my foot and arm were the first alarms I had that5 something was wrong.
Have you been tested via igenex labs? If not, maybe it's something you could look into doing.

I'm having this too! I think it's peripheral neuropathy caused by Lyme.
Mine seems to be part of a herx.
It's so scary, I hope you get checked out by LLMD asap...

How's it going?
I want to second the suggestion that you get tested through IGeneX.
Some of the local labs leave out the bands that are most indicative of lyme, and they are not very sensitive.
Even with excellent testing, lyme is effective at hiding from the immune system.
If you gather enough info to think you may have lyme, a visit to a LLMD (lyme specialist) is worth the trip. They can diagnose based on clinical symptoms, regardless of false negative testing.

Hi there. I agree that you should consider the Igenex test.
I had a neg Elisa, only two bands on a Lab Corp test, and finally tested positive (5 bands) on the igenex western blot so it's always good to investigate Lyme further if you have strange symptoms.
Also have your thyroid checked!! Thyroid probs can cause cold extremities at times as well as fatique and a host of other probs.
