my most recent EKG showed sinus tachycardia, ST-T wave abnormalities + an S1, Q3, T3 pattern.
sinus tachy + the S1, Q3, T3 pattern seem to be most commonly found with pulmonary embolism. I know two healthy women in their 20s who died suddenly from misdiagnosed PEs so I don't want to mess around. my doctor doesn't seem too concerned though because they ran a d-dimer, chest xray, and bilateral lower extremity doppler ultrasound which were all negative.
since Lyme, my EKGs and echocardiograms have showed PACs, PVCs, mild MVP, and tricuspid & MV regurgitation, but the new results worry me. It doesn't seem like something that should be passed off as "normal" especially since I have a recent worsening of cardiac and respiratory symptoms.
does anyone else have this?
can Lyme and/or co-infections cause right heart strain?
thanks for any input
