Yay*)!! You know there is another Mystery Diagnosis with Doc LF and a Lymie guy that aired out here that was just great- my husband ran and got me from the other side of the house!!!
"Sarah- you have to come-"
I ran in- just as they said "Lyme disease!"
Wildy, I think these shows will ultimately raise awareness more than any other thing that has EVER been done. I really do!!!

Hi WildCondor,
I just checked on Discovery Health's website and it doesn't show those shows for that time/date.
I'm confused! Posted by radfaraf (Member # 11909) on :
I'm seeing this on their site:
Two shows at 3pm and 7pm EST.
Not sure if they are about Lyme from the description.
I will email my whole greater family and ask them to watch. Maybe they'll stop asking, "are you better yet?" ugh! They mean well.
Thanks again! Jenn

I'm confused -- is this TV show, "Mystery Diagnosis" or is there also a television show called "Mystery ER" on Discovery Health as well?
I'm trying to verify the time of the show so I can record it.
Can't find a show "Mystery ER" on Discovery Health. Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks!
Fuzzy

Thanks for letting us know. I'll be sure to watch. Maybe if I'm lucky, my mom will watch it with me.
WildCondor, are you the patient in the episode?
Posted by FuzzySlippers (Member # 13658) on :
Never mind my post above, I found it. Boy do I feel stupid. lol! Have my digital recorder set to record now.

The Lyme show is part 2 of "Bittersweet" so pay no attention to the way its listed. It will be on at 7:30 pm Eastern tonight. It IS on the Discovery Health Website and listings for tonight. Yes there are 2 different shows, one is Mystery Diagnosis, the other is Mystery ER. Both are on Discovery Health, and TLC.
Tune in at 7:30 pm Eastern if you want to see it! Thank you everyone, and yes it is myself (with actors playing me in all segments) I was not on screen. Dr. Burrascano is!
When will I catch one of these heads ups BEFORE the show airs?!

Eeek, I missed it too.
Anyone know when it will be on again?

Just caught the show for the third time now and had hubby watch too. Great exposure for all (and so sorry you went through so much). Posted by MysteryGirl44 (Member # 10201) on :
Your show was really nice. I feel bad that you're so sick. I hope you feel better soon.
Posted by WildCondor (Member # 434) on :
Thanks all! Hopefully you can tape it next time and show it to your family and friends. It will re-air, as it has been re-airing for a year already. There are a few inaccuracies in the story. I was interviewed for 5 hours, so some of it was played up for dramatic TV sake. First, I never tried to swallow bleach, that was a joke I said I wanted to do it to kill the h.pylori in my stomach. Second, the light sensitivity while driving was in 1996, not 2 years ago. A few other things were a bit off, but nothing major. The whole story is here http://www.wildcondor.com/lyme.html
I am not super sick anymore and I have been off all Lyme treatment for 3 years and doing well. So, hopefully you guys can use the video to educate others and spread awareness. Thanks!

Yes, please could it be put on youtube?
Would be great for those of us outside the US to have access to it!

My husband taped this to show to his family. Our brother-in-law is a doctor. Can you imagine what I have had to hear?
While we watched the show, hubby looked at me and said "this could be you". I have all the same bugs except so far, no erlichia or bart.
I'm doing extremely well also. In fact, I just hosted Thanksgiving for 25 family members and survived it in good order.
Thanks Wildcondor for sharing your story. Great to know you are well now.

Any way to get this online? Does ITunes have it??
Posted by WildCondor (Member # 434) on :
The Discovery Channel owns the rights to the show. It is not available anywhere else unless you can find somebody on here who has it taped.
It usually re-airs, and I will post on here before it does. I am going to ask the producers and Discovery about YouTube. Thanks all!

If anyone taped it and would be willing to share, I will gladly pay for all expenses!! I'd love to see it!!

Mystery ER Bittersweet TV-PG, CC
The pain in Alice's legs and back is unbearable. Doctors find nothing and suspect she's neurotic. When her son and neighbors begin to experience similar symptoms, the doctors are baffled. But the cause is not an epidemic, it's a vindictive boyfriend.
