Does anyone get small, crusty sores anywhere on the body that take a long time to go away? If I use black ointment, it only takes several days due to the antiseptic ingredients .I've been getting these sores for the past 6 years since a really bad case of Lyme/and? It seems when I get a flare up of any sxs, I get one or two sores that don't usually itch or hurt except if I take the crust off, when they might bleed. They occur mostly on the torso, but can be on the arms or legs also, but less seldom. Are these a form of EM rash-anyone know? Thanks for any input.

The hubby gets herpes zosters on his hip when he has flares. I think it's more an issue of his immune system being overwhelmed by the virus when he's very sick -- not an EM rash.

The zosters occur in the same general area, and are up to an inch in diameter with small red raised bumps that sometimes get very sore and crusty. When he's really sick he may get 2 or 3 at a time.

Valtrex and olive leaf keep them at bay. They occur much less often now that he is doing better.

Dunno if this is what you're experiencing.
