Starting Omnicef and Biaxin for awhile with a real low dose of Flgyl on the third week taken MWF.

Will see how that goes. Have never taken this combo before.

Anyone else on this type of regime? Let me know.

Have never had the joy of taking Omnicef before so this will be one of many firsts.

If you can send in your notes and we'll compare.

Thanks!

Omnicef is pretty gentle isn't it?? I don't hear many complaints about it anyway!!! I hope it is for you!!

If you haven't taken BIAXIN before, it is pretty low key too EXCEPT there will come a night when you are lying in bed and suddenly your mouth will flood with the taste of bitter copper pennies. And it will happen more than once most likely. And you will not have to wonder what it is because it is the Biaxin*)!!! Yuck.

Best wishes,
Biaxin was great for my twitchinG!

Sounds like a great combo!

I've taken both Omnicef and Biaxin. The taste is the worst part about the Biaxin, but you get used to it .... after a while you can't even taste it anymore.

I predict you will make great progress. [Smile]

Be sure you're taking good probiotics.

Hey my friend,

I'm so glad that you are starting a new protocol, and I wish you all the best with it!

I've taken a lot of Biaxin and Flagyl, and they both were good meds for me. Omnicef, on the other hand, did NOT agree with me at all.

Be certain to read about side effects of each, so you will know what to look out for, OK?

Much love,
Melanie

I've never noticed a "taste" with Biaxin. [Smile]

Are you guys using a generic or the brand?

the "taste"
is from clarithromycin, the generic form of biaxin.
it has been my L form med for 6 months now, and yes, it also gives me the copper taste every now and then.

yum [Smile]

humbly,

derek

Thanks all for responding. Sorry it took so long for me to check this post but I forgot I posted anything.

So far am doing fine on this protocol. One day only of really bad diarrhea. Haven't started the Flagyl yet, that's next week.

Remember Hshbmom posting about Flagyl really cleaning out your innards! LOL! Can't wait for that!

Am still having some memory problems though and getting a little lost now and then.

Will attempt some X-mas shopping today. Thank God for GPS!!

Later friends!
