Some herbalists think that the whole herb has valuable properties that are missed when taking only one component of the herb.

Also you can do a search for artemisia or artemisinin here as there have been many message threads on this herb and it's derivatives.

It's an individual thing as to which one you will do better on and a few people don't do well on either.

Sweet annie (Artemisia annua) is also known as Chinese wormwood or sweet wormwood. Although it is in the same genus as both wormwood (absinthe, Artemisia absinthium) and mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris), each of these herbs has different uses and should not be confused.

Be sure to use the correct one - Artemisia annua. I don't think just regular wormwood is the same thing.
