I have an enlarged spleenic duct via ultrasound and spleen shows up as a major issue on my Biometric scan.

Do any of you have spleen issues? What are your symptoms and what are you doing about it?

Thanks

My son had an enlarged spleen from lyme for a very long time. The only thing they did for him was put him on antibiotics. I don't know what else they could except monitor it and if it gets really bad, remove it.

Babesia affects the spleen. If you have Babesia and lose your spleen, you could lose your life too.

Has your doctor tested you for Babs?

My spleen is slightly enlarged and I get some pains there sometimes. It is due to my never ending Babs that never got diagnosed until 3 years into the Lyme treatment. Do yourself a huge favor and get Igenex testing done for Babs- the FSH and IGM/IGG. Even if you test neg sometimes you can't rule it out. It is crucial to know if you have this and get it treated because you don't usually use antibitoics to treat it- more so the antimalaria type of meds. Good luck.

Thank you for your replies.

I just wanted to clarify, according to the US it was not enlarged but had a enlarged duct and main artery. My PCP said it was "nothing to worry about"

I will definitly let my LLMD know at my first appt and see what he says. Right now I'm taking some spleen/pancreatic support. Also because of Adrenal fatigue am on a adrenal complex support.

Thanks again.
