I've read some of you out there have been experiencing this, as well.

It's not a headache but pain in my scalp...

What do you think it is?

I've been experiencing this for the past month or 2 on & off (mostly on).

It's really annoying.

Just another pain signal that I have to deal with.

Is there any way to make it stop?

Yup I have it. Not sure what it is from. It feels like my hair got pulled out of my head.

I have lost a lot of hair.

Interested in what others have to say,

another weirdo Lyme symptom!

If it's sharp pain, it could be inflamed nerves. Always fun! [bonk] (OUCH!)

I have this too...weird..not all the time. I think it is part of the lovely neuropathy that travels around my body. What I call the "Ring of Fire" [Smile] We obviously have peripheral nerves in our scalp...insane bug.

I have a numb scalp - it's like I'm washing someone else's hair in the morning..definitely neuro.

[confused]

When my symptoms flare up, I often feel that annoying tingling and tightness in my scalp. Kind of like someone has fastened rubber bands all around your head - sometimes vertigo and a freezing/burning sensation accompanies it. There's not much I've found that I can do to make it stop - it kind of goes away when it wants to. I wonder if a medication like Lyrica or gabapentin might do something for it - though I'm pretty torn between possibly getting hooked on an addictive medication and being able to actually function again.

My Daughter has it along with a non stop headache. She says it itches, burns and feels like someone is pulling her hair out. She said it also throbs sometimes, not inside, just on her scalp.

Such a strange disease. She has lots of neuro things going on.

Anyone have anything they do to make it feel better?

HUGS,

I really don't know what this strange symptom is.

It may be toxins that are circulating in the head area, too.

I'm trying some detoxing supplements. I'll post any info if it helps.

I don't have pain in my scalp but when I Lyme cycle about once a month I get "bugs" in my hair... Uhhh... actually I have no hair. But could swear there are bugs crawling across my scalp. Doctor said it was cranial nerve neuropathy.
