I'm in remission now and not one person
asked how I got to this point.

So here is my protocol that is used to
put me into remission.
Everybody is different ,and treatment
protocol for every patient must be modified.
Please speak to your llmd or id prior to making changes to your treatment regime.

Health is based on 3 things
Physical health
Mental health and positive attitude
Body fitness

Mental health is primary to curing the body.
Without a positive attitude for cure,
you will never get better, period.
This can be accomplished many ways;
1) Yoga,meditation, biofeedback,reiki
all can leave the mind in a positive state.
2) Most of us without this dedication
may need medications to get to a more
positive state.
MY DRUGS FOR MENTAL HEALTH ARE ZOLOFT 100MG DAILY generic,TRAZADONE 50MG PMgeneric, TRILEPTAL 900MG PM generic, CLONAZEPAM 4MG hs generic FOR SLEEP.
Good sleep can not be over emphasized.
The body must had recuperative sleep to fight infection.
The body, once depressed can not cure itself without medical help.A chemical change
occurs in the brain.
There is a change of serotonin in the
brain that can only be repaired by medication.
Trileptal HELPS TWOFOLD.One for bipolar
disorder,severe depression and highs
Second for neuropathy caused by
lyme disease.
The body can not cure itself if
the mind gives up.

BODY FITNESS
minimal exercise produces endophines and norepinephrines that increase the
the bodies immune system
and preping the body for killing diseases.
I started with water exercises and now play competitive tennis when my knees are healthy.
All YMCA'S have these programs
and even people in wheelchairs are welcome.
This is done in a 90 degree pool which also increases the blood flow in the body.
The more exercise and the more aerobics,
the more chemical release in the brain.

My protocol is based on sound medical
reasoning and should be discussed
with your llmd.
Many symptoms of long term abx are
secondary systemic yeast,fungi,viruses
and malaria type babesia.

You must hit it with everything at once.
Since I'm pro medicine you can use
my medicines or the alternative
herbal equivalent.
NOW MEDICATIONS:

If you are really serious ,I suggest real medicine.
As it can be controlled by the doctor ,
and they have know reactions with other meds.
Alternatives are ok but you must
use an expert who would know
combinations of these herbs.

INITIAL TREATMENT OF MEDICATION IF REAL SICK 10 WEEKS IF NOT 5 WEEKS
VANTIN 200MG BID ]GENERIC AVAILABLE
MEPRON I TABLESPOON BID
FLAGYL 500MG BID GENERIC AVAILABLE
PLAQUENIL 200MG QD GENERIC AVAILABLE
ZITROMAX 250MG BID GENERIC AVAILABLE
DOXYCLINE OR MINO 200MG BID GENERIC AVAILABLE ( MUST WEAR HAT, SUNGLASSES,
SBF 60 ON FACE AND SPRAY SHIRT WITH SPF60 NEW SPRAY COPPERTONE.
I have found by accident that bactrim ds works on one of the TBD factors.
Took this for kidney infection and got immediate herx.
I did not herx on this mix, but I guess I was lucky.

ANTIVIRALS
ACYCLOVIR 400 MG BID GENERIC AVAILABLE
ANTIYEAST & FUNGAL
All yeast are molds not all molds are yeast
mushrooms are molds but not yeast. they are different and as such, must be treated
seperately.
VFEND 200MG QD VERY EXPENSIVE(kills yeast and mold)
OR DIFLUCAN 200 mg bid ANTIYEAST ONLY

ORAL YEAST
NYSTATIN TOCHES OR METRONOZOLE TROCHES 4-5 TIMES A DAY.
VAGINA YEAST NYSTATIN OTC WILL WORK

ORAL YEAST SCRAPE TONGUE WITH SCRAPER OR BIKINI RAZOR ESPECIALLY BACK HALF.

No sugar, yeast, mold ie mushrooms, gluten
I sleep with air purifier by bed
PROBIOTICS NEEDED BUT WILL NOT CURE WITH THIS DOSE OF
MEDS

ABX,ANTIVIRALS, ANTIYEAST 4-6 WEEKS
PSYCH MEDS FOREVER OR UNTIL DOC TAKES YOU OFF THEM

DISCONTINUE ABX MIX AFTER 6 WEEKS
CONTINUE ANTIVIRAL,ANTIYEAST FOR 10 WEEKS
BLOOD TESTS MUST BE DRAWN EVERY 3-4 WEEKS
THESE ARE POTENT DRUGS AND CAN CAUSE LIVER PROBLEMS

I TAKE ANTIVIRAL AND ANTIYEAST CONTINOUSLY AFTER TREATMENT, Have not had flu for 8 years, no herpes, shingles
Ebv, or other viruses.

SMALL RELAPSES I GET ARE TREATED WITH SMALL 10 DAY DOSES OF ABX AND ANTIVIRALS WITH PROBIOTICS. I
TREAT IT AS IF I HAD THE FLU AND IT DOES GO AWAY.
During this time continue exercise as much as possible even if just water
Movement in warm tub.

I have gone from bedridden to playing completive tennis, except for my knees in 8 months.
I have been in remission for 6 months from TBD but still have psych
And some residual neuro issues, but I can function.

AGAIN THIS WILL NOT WORK FOR ALL,IF
IT WORKS FOR AT LEAST ONE ALL THE BETTER.
MUST CONSULT LLMD FOR APPROVAL PRIOR TO STARTING.MY DOC LETS ME EXPERIMENT AND
WRITES FOR WHAT I RESEARCH AND
WANT TO TRY.
THIS IS NOT A CURE ALL SYSTEM,
BUT A SINGLE TREATMENT THAT WORKED FOR ME,
WITH SOUND BACKGROUND RESEARCH.

THEORY:
LYME AND TBD CONSISTS OF MANY COMPONENTS.
MANY OF YOU HAVE KILLED THE TBD ASPECT, BUT HAVE NOT
KILLED THE ADVANCED VIRAL AND YEAST COMPONENTS IN YOUR SYSTEM.
THEY MIMIC THE SYMPTOMS OF TBD AND AS SUCH, PEOLE FEEL
THEY NEED MORE ABX.
YOU MUST TREAT THE SUPERINFECTION FROM THE HIGH AND PROLONG DOSES OF ABX TO THE SYSTEM.

i you do a search 4 bactrim, you will see i am not the only one that herxed from bactrim.

it may be be found in the future, that it maybe one of the players for lyme disease.

Congrats Doc, but you neglected to mention your weekly seaweed wraps, Restalyne, manicures, deep tissure, hydromassage and obligatory lap dances at Maralago. [Big Grin]

Banner elk,nc? Did we move from dreary old Palm Beach? Should I notify your publicist? Water deep enough for your '150 Fedship? [Big Grin]

Thanks DocDave for sharing your experiance.

I am glad you are in 'remission', and have missed your posts over the last few months.

I like how you think outside of the box, and you seem to often have a different twist.... you always get me thinkin'.

I just looked up one of your posts from awhile back....I think about it from time to time.

To my suprise, it was a year ago to the day!

This is great news and thank you for giving us your guidelines as to what has worked for you. I do hope you will continue to drop by now and then and let us know how you are doing.

DD...how did you get into remission?

Just kidding...very glad you are better!

My sister lives in Wilmington, NC. She and her husband moved there from Upstate NY.

I have used most of the drugs you mentioned...at higher doses, for years. Not the answer for me...yet. I am going to check out the viral component more completely. There has to be an answer for these crashing head/neck aches and fatique.

STAY WELL...yes, the water in the Capr Fear River area is deep...but there are Alligators there as well...and it is colder than in Florida!

However, the prices of comparable homes and the taxes are very affordable in NC...PLUS...they need good Dentists!

Peace, Love and Wellness,
JRW

Thanks for sharing that.

Do you think that Diflucan stops being effective after a while?

I am wondering what the psych meds have to do with a bacterial infection?

I have a hard time buying into the whole "healthy attitude helps to heal" supernatural stuff. I had a very healthy attitude towards my illness, even several psychiatrists said so

I heard about a study that showed depakote actually killed bacteria in vitro, could some of these psych drugs have that effect?

or possibly the psych meds improve neuro transmitter function and that helps heal the nervous system?
