Yeah okay...I know. I'm supposed to be the diet queen on this board, but hey! Even diet queens get a treat sometimes.
I have an allergy to milk proteins so I was happy to learn that Wendy's Frosty is dairy free.
But I noticed that if I drink a Frosty today, I wake up tomorrow with increased sinus congestion and a sinus headache.
I have tested this theory several times now and it is consistent. I must be allergic to something in a Frosty.
I'm just passing this along so the rest of you, if you care to, can be more aware of how you feel after you eat something. Food sensitivities are behind some of our symptoms and we can feel better just by eliminating them from our diet.
Darn it!!!!

BTW, does anyone know the exact ingredients in a Frosty?

This is from Wendy's website ... sorry to say, it's not dairy-free.
Milk, Cream, Sugar, Corn Syrup, Cocoa (processed with alkali), Guar Gum, Mono and Diglycerides, Cellulose Gum, Dextrose, Carrageenan, Calcium Sulfate, Disodium Phosphate, Artificial and Natural Flavor, Vitamin A Palmitate. CONTAINS: MILK.

Uh-oh.
Looks like maybe that mystery got solved.
Sorry, Luvs, although it is nice to know that you cheat every so often with the diet thing.... Posted by LZOChicago (Member # 8641) on :
Yeah, it is filled with a lot of crap, but it is gluten-free!

gluten free???? Big Deal....
Did you really mean that? try reading the ingredients again!
there's too much sugar for any lymie to be drinking that stuff and not get SOME kind of reaction....
usually PAIN!
Who cares if it's gluten free or not!

I made the mistake of having ice cream the other night. Maybe 1/2 cup. But I paid for it all night.

If you're going to fall off the wagon, better to eat ice cream made of real ingredients like Haagen Dazs Here's the vanilla ingredient list -- Cream, Skim Milk, Sugar, Egg Yolks, Natural Vanilla
It's also gluten-free (which is important to some).

Nope, this wasn't just falling off the wagon, this was throwing myself off while moving at about 50 mph.
