Do the coinfections cause neuro symptoms or are neuro symptoms generally attributable to lyme?

All TBD can cause neurosymptoms, not just lyme.

I've been wondering about this too. Can coinfections cause tingling, muscle twitching, muscle weakness, etc.?

Also, does anyone know how accurate the Fry Labs test is for Bart and Babs?

Thanks

My LLMD seemed to think Fry was more reliable for Bart & Babs diagnosis. Ideally you get both labs to do it BUT Igenex missed my Bart and Fry nailed it.

I think Lyme and coinfections can cause all nervous system issues but I feel the Bart treatment is targeting more of my psychological symptoms.

The Lyme treatment definitely helped some of my anxiety and depression but it totally wiped out my physical symptoms which was awesome.

Treating Bart is making me think that it hits more of the mental issues.

Just my own esperience.

So all TBDs can cause neuro, do they typically or is neuro more an indicator of lyme?

I think it can vary from person to person. My lyme caused primarily rheumatic symptoms and the mycoplasma co-infection caused my neuro symptoms.

Most of symptom lists overlap so much that it is difficult to sort out which illness is present based only on symptoms.

My grandson's Lyme Pediatrician said that his neuro symptoms could be Lyme, Bartonella, or both, even tho he has consistently tested negative for Bartonella.

He also said that the tests for Co-Infections are no more reliable than the Lyme tests.
