Hi Derek,
I wish I could help, only thing I can think of is an ear infection. I hope she feels better soon, let us know what you find out.

My son used to sometimes bleed from his ears when he had a bad ear infection. This can also happen if her eardrum has ruptured, perhaps from sinus pressure backing up into her eustachian tubes. It isn't a horrible thing; often people feel better and less pressure once the eardrum ruptures, and it heals, but drops are often needed.
I'd consider getting into an ENT doctor.

I had a bart nodule pop after a mirco current treatment my duck said what did you put in your ear. I told him I think its bart...he thought I was nuts! Next time in his office the nodule was STILL there...I put myself on cipro and feeling better already.

Sorry to hear that.
Be sure they don't give antibiotic eardrops that may be ototoxic.
One is. Some are not. The main problem is if the particular abx that is ototoxic gets through the ear drum.
This should be known by all doctors now, but just in case, you can cross check the name of the drug below.
My ears bled for over 7 months before they found the staph in my ears.
Get it cultured. Don't take anything less. I wish they had cultured mine.
PM if you have any additional questions.
This is how they found my staph infection during Hyperbarics. By that time my ears were full of blood.
They are not bleed anymore but still hurt a ton.

My older daughter that didn't have Lyme had an ear infection one time and her ear bled. Not just a little bit either.
She didn't fall and have any trauma to the head so I am sure it is infection related, lyme related or staph....or.......please just get her to an MD don't mention Lyme, just the immediate problem with her ears and they will be able to help you.
Hugs,

I think cleaning your ears with swabs can cause bleeding.
