My fever is up to 101.5, my chest hurts when I take a deep breath. I am coughing, my lymph nodes are all very swollen and tender.

I have been throwing up and lost my appetite. I have a patch of rash on each of my forearms-- pale but slightly itchy.

I am still in so much pain... and now I feel sort of foggy, confused.

Am I still naive about Babesia herxes, or does this sound like an infection to other people as well? I seem to be getting steadily sicker.

My nurse is on her way over to draw blood and examine me... I'll post an update when she leaves. In the meantime, thoughts???

Lynmph nodes & fever are often Bartonella-
or tularemia actually!!!

Well, my nurse (who is Lyme literate and really great) just left. My lungs are clear and my BP is stable, but she wants me to take some Tylenol to bring down the fever if it persists much longer. She confirmed that my lymph nodes are giant.

She is going to call tomorrow with my blood counts and liver functions results, so I don't have to wait for my former (and very slow) LLMD to call me with them.

I hadn't thought about Bart... I did test positive for it, in addition to RMSF and Lyme (and my clinically diagnosed Babs). I don't remember being tested for Tularemia at all, though admittedly I am really out of it at the moment. Thanks for thinking of that, CaliLyme!

If this is a herx, I have just never had one half so severe. I'm still curious as to whether people think it is one, or whether they think it's an unrelated infection. My boyfriend (who lives with me and takes care of me) is also ill.

One of my (random) ideas was mycoplasma pneumonia.

Other ideas? [confused]
