Anyone working with an LLMD that specifically recommended grapefruit seed extract? If so, what brand and at what dose did they recommend?
Thanks

Mine recommends Pure Encapsulations brand. I take 3 capsules, 2x/day.
I also use the Nutrabiotics drops on my toothbrush to scrub my tongue. Yuck, but it works.

Excellent. Just ordered some and will do some energetic testing with it when it arrives. Be well.

Scott, could you edit and add GRAPEFRUIT SEED EXTRACT; too many abbreviations for our neuro lyme minds to try to decipher? thanks my friend. Posted by ElaineC (Member # 9857) on :
Obviously the recommended doses vary - my LLMD also uses Pure Encapsulations brand, but lower dose of 2 capsules 2x/day.

Is the Pure Encapsulations GSE working for anybody?
Thanks, CherylSue

My LLMD has me taking GSE and didn't care what brand. I take Nutribiotic drops. I like it because I can control the dosage. I am very sensitive to it ... just a couple drops too much will cause a herx.
I had to ramp up on it.

I did just read in the Lyme Times that some LLMDs do feel it can lower the effectiveness of abx.

I found this one at the health food store. It worked for yeast & I feel that it did some damage to the spirochetes.
Yeast Cleanse by Solaray
It has other ingredients besides from the GSE. It wasn't recommended by a doctor, though.
It worked better then fluconozole for yeast. I think it's a very good product.

Nutribiotics Citricidal. It is absolutely high potency and quite cheap from vitacost. 12 dollars for 400 servings. A serving is 15 drops. If you can even tolerate 15 drops, you're my hero. It's very good.
