I'm only 24 years old. Haven't had children either.
And I have hot flashes. I think I've heard lyme does cause them.

Yes, Lyme causes hot flashes and flushing. I have had it off and on since before being diagnosed in 2004. Since I'm male I was able to pretty rapidly rule out menopause.

Babs and bart can also cause hot flashes.
Does your face turn red and do you break out into a sweat?

I know I have Bart. I think I have Babs.
I do break out into a sweat most times when I have hot flashes, yes. Am not sure about my face turning red or not as I haven't noticed or went to look in the mirror while it's happening. My husband hasn't mentioned anything, but he isn't "looking" for it.

Babs treatment helped with the majority of my hot flashes, and bart treatment helped the neuropathy I associated with the flashes.
Mepron, biaxin, IM bicillin, plaq and septra was the best combo for me. It really helped with the flashes.

Lately I have been getting these episodes of breaking into a cold, clammy sweat when exerting myself; it's gross and yucky.
Anyone have that? It has nothing to do with the room temperature, more if I am doing some household tasks.
