things i have missed since coming down with lyme and that i hope to get back....
1. I miss being able to go out to eat, look at the menu and order something to it.
2. I miss being able to talk on the phone, do the dishes and laundry while being on the phone. It always seemed to make the chores go so much faster.
3. I miss reading a novel at bedtime.
4. I miss getting up in the morning and taking a shower and putting clean clothes on.
5. The ability to get the correct word and spelling....granite/granted their/there/etc

Kam,
I took my health for granted prior to Lyme.
I will never, ever do that again.
Hugs,
Geneal

What I miss most since I got lyme:
1. Playing outside with my children
2. Enjoying long walks in the woods with my hubby.
3. Having the energy to do my house work
What I mainly miss is the life I had before this disease, every day enjoyments that are gone.
Will the fight ever end???

I too miss:
walking 15-20 minutes without thinking I'd just walked ONE MILE!
traveling; going to reunions in other states;
going to a big-screen movie and my ears not being blown away from NOISE/SOUNDS ON HIGH PITCH;
working where others did NOT have to make special provisions for me;
getting together with folks who were chain smokers and our card-playing buddies.

I miss: --being able to ride horses --having days where my last thoughts before sleep and first though upon waking weren't "I have Lyme disease" --having some money to go shopping --enjoying shopping --non-pitying looks from friends and family --being able to host a party --days of vigourous energy!
