I was walking to an appointment downtown the other day when I was approached by a man canvassing for some magnanimous cause (I forget which one).

For the first three seconds or so that he was talking to me, I could not understand a word he was saying.

I had to slowly refocus my attention on him and only him for his clear, well-spoken english to not sound like total gibberish.

Has anyone else here experienced something like this, or am I nuts in addition to Lyme-laden?

Yes, I have had this too. It took a while, but it did get better for me with treatment.

It sure made me feel like I was nuts tho. [Big Grin]

Oh yeah!

One time my daughter wanted to know which movie to watch ..... She said some big, long story to me (still no idea what she said), then asked me a question.

I did not answer.

She shortened her story.

I still did not answer.

She help up both DVD's and said, "Mom point to which one you want to watch with me." I finally got it.

This was frequent. My kids would come to me, tell me some story and ask a question. I'd look at them all confused and say, "Make it really simple for me."

Mine completely went away with treatment.
