My eyes are so dry. In fact in addition to fatigue and frequent eye infections,
One of my first complaints was that my eyes were so dry I could just flick
The contact off of it. I blinked continuously.
I think to try to hydrate my eyes.
I used eye-drops (made for contacts) all day long.
Hugs,
Geneal

This sounds like it may be Tic Disorder.
Take magnesium supplements and Omega-3's (fish oil capsules) to help control it.
Carol
Editing to add, Tic Disorder may be caused by Lyme.

do you mean like habitual exaggerated forceful blinking? i have this along with movement problems and akathisia. it obviously exploded in my teens with SSRI psych meds, but i figure lyme may have given me the susceptibility to suffering permanent effects. with neurolyme, i would certainly guess this all can happen without SSRIs to trigger it. i also wonder if these extrapyramidal symptoms are related to neuropathy.
my only advice might be to keep off SSRI or SNRI-type drugs and antipsychotics. but, in my experience, i have found nothing that helps, and it hasn't gotten any better with time, just waxes and wanes. i use an ativan prn when it gets really bad.
omega-3s sound reasonable. i have never tried them myself, as i am vegan, and it is extremely expensive to get algae oil with good EPA levels. i may still take it in case DHA might help, but still, i would rather have at least a gram of EPA without having to take 40 caps.
magnesium, i take a bit of. sometimes multiple times a day if i can remember, but i can't take too much at one time as i get the diarrhea effect easily. averaged out i probably end up taking a lot less than most people using magnesium do. i also take zinc (another NMDA antagonist mineral.) i don't know if either has helped. they may have helped against insulin resistence to some degree, but maybe not, i am too out of it to notice things unless they are really significant.

If it's a motor tic, which I have, B-12 with folic acid helped tremendously.
My doctor has me use sublingual B-12 (the brand he recommends is perque) and I put a drop of folic acid (brand called Folirinse) on each tab.
I was taking 3 tablets 3-5 times a day when I first started.

Have you ever noticed Nancy Pelosi and her rapid eye blinking?? Hard to miss when she is in the background of President Bush while he is making his speeches in front of Congress.
Spose she has lyme too?? Or what other disorder causes such actions??I heard parkinsons once!!

Contact lenses can cause blinking. I noticed Edwards was blinking a lot during one of the debates and somebody I know, who had been working on his campaign, said it was his contacts.

My wife did at one time suffer from uncontrolled blinking, along with her eyes rolling back into her head, electrical storm type headaches, as well as banging her head against the pillow and uttering words that don't make any sense.
Two weeks of Biaxin / Plaquenil combination put a stop to all of that.
She has been on a multitude of supplements for many years prior to and during her therapy, none of which have done anything to stop or alleviate these symptoms.
She can only tolerate this drug combination on a pulsed basis, 4 days per week on, 3 days per week off, 2 weeks per month on, 2 or more weeks per month off, etc.,
Be warned that the Herxheimers are very severe with this drug combination, but it works fast.
