WOW ! is that ever beautiful. Thanks for the link.

And a great price compared to typical.
(still way more than I can afford, but it has me calculating if I could use my food money for the year)

- not claustrauphobic (sp?) . . . you could lie down in it - with feet propped up - nice feature.

you could use it as a music practice room (heat off, of course) . . . a reading room . . .

If this really is as non-toxic as they say, that would be great.

no brand name, though. I don't know how you would confirm what they say. Better Business Bureau ?? Research the mfr. ?

Also customer service available should be confirmed for things like finding a switch or heater replacement in a year or two, if needed.

- note the amp requirements, too. (from link: larger units saunas requiring over 15 amps of power need to be plugged into a 20 amp circuit breaker. Be sure you have a 20 amp line for these larger units as they cannot be used on a 15 amp circuit. )

-------

And beware of saunas from High Tech Health. Some of their models have had particle board although they said not.

Some of their units have been fine. However, I personally know someone who had the same experience as those in link below:

Anyone know of wall panels to buy separately ?

I have a free standing infrared heater, but it's very hot and very directional. I need a couple wall panels to turn my closet into a sauna. I've searched and searched on web - so if anyone knows please PM me. Thanks.

We own the 2 person sauna this company sells and are pleased with it. We purchased it through a different company.

However, it off-gasses in the beginning. Not the wood, but something from the heating unit itself. And sometimes it seems like it still off-gasses here and there. Very subtle though and I think it will resolve eventually. We have only had it for about 7 months and do not use it continuously every day.

You might ask questions about this.

I have a sunlight sauna and really like it. It was more expensive than this ....

Mine has not had any outgassing. The only question I would have about the one posted are the glues .... sunlight does not use glue.

In the beginning, one of my panels was bad and it put off a burning smell. They sent me another panel, no problem, and that was the end of the smell.

My doctor swears by Heavenly Heat. She says that she went through three saunas for her facility before settling on this one. She said to be careful since some of them use glue even though they say they don't, and if you are sensitive to this you can get really sick.

Hands -down Heavenly heat is the absolute best. Call Bob Morgan and talk to him. He makes them. I am saving for one.
Be sure to get one with FIR. This is the most "clean" sauna out there. No glue at all!

One other good one if you want an Infrared Lamp Sauna is the one made in Centre Hall PA by the Amish. If you want one of these you can contact Char Healy @ www.hopetoheallyme.com She can get you contact info for that one.

Heavenly Heat, definitely.....we love ours. Expensive but worth it. I believe the guy Bob Morgan will give discounts if you come referred by a health care provider (in my case, a naturopath in reno, NV).
