Does the manufacturer have any cost reduction programs for low income patients?

Are there generics?

We spent about $1300 a month for generic Rocephin, unconstituted. That included the antibiotic and all other necessary medical equipment and supplies (Saline, Heparin, syringes, etc)

My IV co told me that if ins stops paying their discounted patient self pay rate is @$600 a month. I didn't get details so I don't know exac tly what this includes.
