I've been clinically diagnosed with Lyme and Bartonella with Barts causing the majority of my problems. I was hoping to get some information on the antibiotics.... has anyone had any side effects, or have the effects of these been transparent....

I just started treatment today.

Any info will be appreciated.

Levaquin was my miracle drug! Watch for tendonitis ... call your LLMD if you have any signs of tendon pain.

Doxy can be tough on the stomach. I took Prilosec to help with it, and for you, Prilosec will serve two functions, it will also help the Levaquin to work better .... Dr. B recommends it.

Watch out, those meds pack quite a punch! Be sure to drink lots of water for detox.

SixGoofyKids,
How long were you on Levaquin? What dosage? In combo with anything else?

Thanks.

the drugs in Levaquin's class seem pretty dangerous:

fqresearch.org

do a search here with the terms levaquin and floxing

some say that levaquin can inhibit doxy and activate a

bacteriophage that causes Bb to produce toxins.
