Just started Rifampin, Zith and Plaquenil yesterday. I was already on Zith.

Today I am so stiff and exacerbated pain in the hands and feet, facial stiffness, well just about every bone feels stiff and some pain.

Herx?

Also, did anyone take some Cowden herbs while on this combo? I have some and I will be taking Burbur and Pinella. Just wondering if anyone addded anything else?

I've heard much about Deseret Biologicals for Bart. Should I add this?

BTW- have never tested POS for Bart and haven't tried Fry Labs yet.

Sounds like a bart herx to me!

I was on Samento, Cumanda, Parsley, and Burbur when I was on a similar combination (not zith though). I was eventually going to rotate the Cumanda with Quina, but changed drugs before that happened so wasn't on the Rifampin when I did that.

I was thinking of adding Cumanda, not the full dose, start with 15 drops to help with yeast and Lyme.

Did anyone feel toxic when they Bart herxed? I don't. Just symptom exacerbation, but no toxicity like Lyme herx.

Ramp up slowly! I ended up not herxing at all with Cumanda, but many do. I did herx when I jumped from 17 to 20 drops of Samento ... I got impatient ramping up.

I've done Cowden before and was up to the 30 drops, but you're probably right. I'll try 3-4 drops and work up real slow. [Wink]

I am not even going to touch Samento. I took 20 drops for 2 months then couldn't do that anymore.
Dropped down to 10 drops and couldn't get past 12.
