One of our Naturopaths recommended that our son use this product for detox. He has issues with this, as many people do.

Last night we tried it for the first time. He's 10 years old. After 10 minutes in the tub he yelled to me and said, "Mom, is this stuff supposed to help me, or kill me"?

His face was flushed red and he had a bad headache. We pulled him out right then.

He went to school for most of the day today. He seems okay, but still has a headache.

Has any one ever heard of this product? I really like our Naturopath, but that doesn't mean he's right on about everything.

Our son is supposed to take 10 of these baths in the next six weeks. Then we're supposed to go back and have him retested.

I'd love to hear if anyone else has heard of this, and what their experience has been. Thanks.

I've never tried the product but it looks interesting.

I often get headaches from detoxing, especially when I first started. If I were in your situation, I'd call the ND's office and ask if there is anything I could do about the headache. Your son will be a lot more likely to continue if he doesn't have to suffer for days after the treatment.

I read this on a website about the detox baths:

For best results, soak the top and back of your head for 10 minutes during your first two soaks. To remove the toxins held to your hair, wait 4 hours minimum after soak and shampoo 3 times. A few drops of lemon juice or lemon concentrate mixed with the shampoo will help remove the toxic buildup holding onto the hair.

Don't know if it would make a difference but it might.

I hope he feels better soon.

Terry
