I'm still not 100% sure I have lyme and it seems like a lot of my symptoms have settled down.

The main source of my issues are my right ear (hearing loss, tinitus, wooshing sounds) and a spot on my neck which, when pressed feels tender and sore. The pain seems to radiate to my jaw, cheek, head etc. It also seems that is the area where I get the muscle spasms, tremors etc.

I get some minor sinus issues now and then and I question any neurological involvement becuase I am having ear issues so a lot of that can be vestibular as well. I don't seem to have any of the 'classic' joint issues.

I saw a LLMD and he has put me on a dose of antiboitics as I await tests. I don't think there is much difference being on the meds yet- it's been less than a week so far.

Can anyone offer any insight?

Cheers,
xtine

Lyme being a clinical dx, you will not know for sure until you get some results from the testing, but depending on how long you have had the disease, depends on how disseminated it is. It is slow to reproduce and tries to get out of the blood stream as soon as it can. It spreads to the CNS as quickly as anywhere. If you are on abx now, and your LLMD follows up correctly, you may never develope any other symptoms.
