I tried to run this video, and it kept getting hung up, so I gave up. I would have loved to see it!!

Great video, Michelle.

Learning that one can now request a western blot without having a positive elisa is great news.

Great video. It is a kind of long, so make sure you have the time to watch both parts [Smile]
I forwarded it to my mom, so that she can get a better understanding of what I have been going through.
Thanks Tincup.

Cool, Tincup.

Hey, what is she talking about when she says there's some new law or thing about skipping an ELISA in favor of a western blot? Yeah, I mean WE all know that, but does anyone know what she's talking about?

The OTHER Michelle said.. "Yeah, I mean WE all know that, but does anyone know what she's talking about?"

Yes.. she is talking about the new case definition for Lyme made up by the nit-nots in CT and passed by the rest of the nit-nots.

I think she has missed some important points.. and don't remember her exact quotes off the top of my head.. but the old case definition has changed.

This is complicated .. like days and days of understanding it all last year when we went to Atlantic City to protest.... and I'm not long being up.. but I'll try.

Actually we loose in the deal due to the new classifications for confirmed, probable and suspected. And the IgG and IgM... one of them is not accepted anymore.. rather than we can skip ELISA.

OK.. I think they will count a positive IG?.. nope can't think.. and don't want to misquote.

Ya know.. I am not with it enough and would have to look at my notes to explain it again (or wait till I am fully awake)... but I just explained it recently on a post that I believe lou posted this past week. Actually I am too groggy to remember that detail.

How about this...

Good morning to everyone! Catch ya when my brain is in gear.

Well, I even messed that up. Just saw the clock and it is no longer morning.

Can someone push my delete button ... or at least rewind? I'd sound MUCH smarter if you did!

HA!
