I'm jellybelly's husband... posssibly with lyme. 2 nights ago I had AF (atrial fibrillations), since then I've had mild chest tightness and now my lower ribs, front and back have a burning pain. My heart was checked out approx 6 months ago when I had AF's. Hearts ok. Anyone have similar issue. I'm searching whether it has Lyme connections or not.

Thanks

I was recently diagnosed with Lyme and I often have shooting pains in my chest area that run from my heart up to my shoulders. Many times they also are spasms that I can not control.

I am only 28, but I had all of the heart tests as well and my heart is fine per the doctors.

I hope this helps...

If you had AFs two days ago and are having chest tightness and pain now, I would contact a medical professional. Don't play with your heart.

Chest tightness and pain where you describe can be something as simple as heartburn. But I'm converned that you say you had AFs two nights ago.

And if the heart checks out OK, you may want to find a chiropractor who adjusts ribs. Ribs can lose some of their movement, like other bones do. And a stuck rib can cause quite a bit of pain, both front and back.

Ditto!! And the chiropractor might be a good idea as a follow up!

Hope to hear that you're doing just great....very soon!

Hey Jelly! Hope your husband is feeling better soon. I hope he's called his doctor?

Not since I spoke to him earlier. Typical guy thing.

He has a whole bundh of Lyme sypmtoms. I know he is hoping and hoping it is something other than Lyme. Just another symptom where the docs will just scratch their heads.
