First I want to say thanks for taking the time to read this.. I want to try to keep this simple if possible.

Many times I get overwhelmed with the fact that I can't understand much of the medical information. So it would be nice if I could get my hands on some information in laymans terms so they can understand without having to have a translator or medical dictionary handy.

There have to be sites out there taht are well documented reliable, to the point, informative and helpful.

This is for some people in my life who are supportive but dont' understand lyme because of all the misinformation they are reading online. They want to understand and for that I am greatful.

They keep reading how you can overcome lyme quickly with abx.. I need to show them the side of lyme that most people arn't educated about.

The way it affects us. The difficulty in extracting it from our bodies and the severe symptoms it can cause minute to minute/day to day. That it will take time and patience but I can overcome this.

The day to day struggles and issues with symptoms and the inability to function. How severe it can be and why. I can't drive hardly at all now. My heart has stopped.

The way it goes deeper and deeper and can take over all the organs when not treated...

The negative effects of abx(I may have to do abx, but want them to know why I havn't yet)and why it is best to avoid them if possible.

Positive results of people treated naturally. I know a lady who was healed getting treated at the clinic I go to now.

Ok, I know this is a tall order. And a lot to read... Anything you can help me with here would be great...

Thanks sooooo very much!!!

Also, ILADS Basic information about Lyme disease:

These links and other helpful educational info can be found:

When I get asked this same question, I direct folks to Dr. C.'s website. Many have printed his words for their extended family and friends.
