I have been on Doxy 200 mg for about 6 weeks with really good results. Started herxing about 3 days in for few good days then off and on with a few hot spots.

Over past 2 weeks it doesnt seem as if it is working as well at all I am going to increase to 300 and then switch to Roxy for a few weeks and see if that does anything with back up of Doxy on hand if cant handle or doesnt work.

Real concerned about the Roxy (know that is not proper spelling btw) bc seems same class of 'myocins. Long before dx I had major major major herx on zith. Scared I may do same here...

Even considered pulsing zith as it obviously hit something really hard. Now that I know what to expect out of it, pulse would be only option and even there would have to be very careful.

Although loads are probably much better/lower now with tx I have been under.

I get tired of the one, two steps forward and then 3, 4 steps back...

edited to ask question!!!! LOL!!!

does an abx stop working after awhile????

Roxithromycin is good if taken with Bactrim aka septra. Bactrim for some reason, doubles the MIC value of roxithromycin. There have been studies done to prove this.

I swear lexapro roxy and bactrim is killer!!! UR going to herx like CRAZY and kill major bugs. But check for drug drug interactions first!!! I taken roxy about 1 month and I love it. And gasser protocal works for lyme I tell u!!! maybe the co-infections wont work but pure lyme, I swear roxy and bactrim and perhaps lexapro rules the day.
