rocking, not spinning, vertigo (like on a boat or in a hammock) is my mother's only symptom and it is excruciating for her. Just found out today she is anemic as well.
does this sound like babs? and i understand there are different strains of it? she is from Virginia.
she's been treated for lyme. has ongoing yeast issues. been battling a case of c . diff. and because of a bad fall, healing some broken bones... her duck thinks this explains the anemia. I'm not sold on that theory yet.

HI there - these are my worst symptoms too so know how your mother must feel - it makes me really sickly. i've had the feeling of rocking back & forth like on a ship for 6 yrs now!!!
i too have just had blood tests back & showed low RBC & low hemoglob
i'm afraid i cant offer much advice but wanted to bump this message up to see if anyone else has managed to beat these symptoms?
are these symptoms associated to babs?

thanks lymetoo for advice - yes 2 yrs ago i did 5mths of mepron/zith /art but unfortunately didnt help with imbalance rocking on ship feeling!
i'm planning to start enula (nutramedix herb) next week to see if it helps & if not then try malarone.
i;ve never had a +ve babs test tho - blot, PCR & blood smears all negative!!!

I get the rocking feeling too. Dont know what its from. One time I was sitting and happened to glance in the mirror and I actually do rock. Very slightly.
I dont think anyonbe would notice unless they looked for it. But my head was going back and forth. WHat causes this? How scary. Anyone?

I too have a problem with vertigo. I have had it about 7 years now, it's so bad that I have had to use a walker for about 6 years. I can stand and not hang onto anything but I do weave a little BUT if I try to take a step without hanging onto something I fall over to one side or I fall backwards. This symptom is what keeps me depressed! I am on and have been on Malarone for Babs for about a year and vertigo doesn't seem to get any better. Hope yours does! Good Luck!

the vertigo is the worse....I use a cane for support when it is really bad
what helped my head is the rifampin and bizxin...test neg for bart...but still think this is what may be causing this...other neuro signs as well

Ive been on Biaxin for years and after I take breaks and then take Flagyl I herx again.
The biaxin actually makes my MCS and vertigo a bit worse.
Im sick of taling about it sorry I bought it up...
