My son originally started with doxy and plaquenil like most of you, but wasnt doing much so they started the power picc line with recephrin(generic)immediately. During both, he has used an aqua chi ionic foot bath toxin remover and we have purchased but have yet to receive his new FAR infrared sauna.
My questions are:
1. When he uses any of these products, is he also removing the probiotics or abx in the process therefor hurting the abx process?
2. When he finally receives his infrared sauna, which he is very excited about, can he even use it with the new picc line in his arm? Will it cause problems?
This whole process with the picc line is tough enough for him, don't want to prolong it and I'd hate to interfere with other treatments while using any abx.

Hi,
When you detox, you are removing "toxins" not abx or probiotics. Toxins are the bad stuff left over whenn the abx are doing there job. When bacteria is killed off or when yeast dies off it leaves behind toxins you want to remove as much as these as possible to feel better.
There are many ways to detox, you can do the foot pads as you spoke of or oral detoxing with herbs, vitamins and infarred saunas.
I have an infarred sauna and have used alot for detoxing from heavy metals as well as other toxins. As far as having a picc line and using the sauna I am not sure, I would probably ask his doctor or the place where you purchased your sauna. I bought mine from Luxsauna and they very helpful with any questions I had.
