I have a very high EBV and HHV6 titers and just started a new protocal for bart.
Has anyone added valcyte to rifampin & zith?

A friend of mine has taken it with minocycline.
I am currently on valcyte alone.
Valcyte is a pretty potent anti-viral. Not sure how many drugs you want to mix with it..as far as your body tolerating the drugs (liver etc)

Does valcyte also lower iron (ferritin) levels? Maybe I should wait until we treat bart to get iron levels up before destroying them with valcyte.
Is valtrex as hard on the liver? I haven't taken abx in about 2 months but I tend to have liver & spleen issues which we thought were from babs but now believe are bart related.
