Have those of you who herx (or just have a bad reaction) on Cholestyramine/Questran also had low cholesterol numbers by chance (either before or after starting it)?
I had low cholesterol before and wonder if that's significant and whether I should continue and get past the terrible herx or stop because of possible damage.

Can someone explain what would cause a herx reaction with Cholestyramine? It binds the junk from the bile and takes it away...why would one herx from that?

Chamade, My LLMD explained that when the toxins get cleared from the blood, it leaves room for all the toxins that have been stored in the tissues to be released to have their turn to be eliminated.
My cholesterol numbers have never been a problem (too high), but they were definitely lower this year.

I take charcoal(see my posts on charcoal here for more info) but just now take it at the weekend so I have five days to recover. Anyone try this with CSM?

my dr does nto like cholesteramine , sh eperscribed cholestopure and I am fine
my colesterol level are low but my husbands are high and she put both of us on colestopure 1/2hrs before meal
by the way yes it binds the toxins ..but I take clorella before it 1/2 hrs before than I take 1 cholesteropure 1/2 hrs before meals..as i do not want the rest to be realeased and not bind ...so that works better

when I have brain toxins -I add pinella dropps also 10 dropps on a glass of water and rotate with decoction from knotweed and I feel the clearity on my brain
ususlly pulsing the flagyl , or the antibiotics whatever I take couse me release of toxins in my brain ..using all these every day have kept me from clearing my brain and my body -it is imperative to bind them before you start killing process and after that you take killers
