I've read posts that state the Doxy/Biaxin regimen is a good combo for Lyme. But, is it a good combo for co-infections such as Bart? I have yet to test for co-infections [next month], but was just wondering.
I read where Levaquin was Dr. B's first choice for Bart, but I can't take that stuff. Too many bad side effects. I notice he recommends Zith as a substitute for Levaquin [at least in children under 18].
Anyone?

This is from the Dr. B guidelines. I don't see zith or biaxin listed as a drug of choice. If you can't take Levaquin, how about Rifampin?
I took Biaxin for many months and it did nothing for my bart.
