Just wanted to know which drug is easier on your stomach--biaxin or zithromax? It will probably be paired with rifampin, but other suggestions to pair with rifampin are welcome. Hiker53

For me that was clearly Biaxin. Zithromax gave me the runs the first few days every time I started it.
Biaxin was easy on me - I like it.

I too did much better on the Biaxin...Zith = Lots of Charmin for me, every time we tried it.

I love my Biaxin. I did get very "regular" the first week but it passes.

Biaxin was easier on the gut for me too.
However, my skin (forehead) clogged on biaxin and I had a nasty metallic taste in my mouth too, especially at the beginning!

Biaxin is good. Zith gives me an itchy anus (haha) Yes I am serious!!!!!!!!
