Has anyone had a reaction to their drugs (I'm on amoxicillan, Biaxin and Plaquenil) that caused their palms to itch? It's a relentless burning itch. Yesterday and last night started, almost 30 minutes after first dose.

I know it's supposed to mean that "money will be coming into your life" but this is incredibly irratating.

I have had Lyme Disease for around 20 years and was diagnosed yesterday...I'll post my story on a blog so as to not cause you difficulties in reading my post. Anyway, I'm 38 and finally was listened to by my doctor (a new one - closer to home, who happens to be LLMD). What a relief. Have been told to expect Herxheimer reaction in a few days (YIPPEE) so I look forward to your responses.

Yes!

I had itchy hands on Doxy -- both palms and the tops of my hands. Didn't seem to be sun related. Eventually little blisters formed all over my hands

Took Benedryl when it started to get bad, but when the blisters multiplied my LLMD told me to stop the Doxy. I stopped and the itching and blisters were gone within 24 hours.

Have you reported the itching hands to your doctor? How are you with Penicillan? Could be allergic to abx or possibly die-off toxins? Could be combo of drugs?

I'm not a doctor, but I go for Benedryl once itching is persistent. I also think you should call your LLMD and report the itching.

I also hope that it is a sign that you are coming into big, big money. (Hmmm...does itching palms mean money or that someone is talking about you?) Go for the money!

Glad you have a LLMD...and welcome!

Best regards,
