I took some pics of red lines that have been appearing along my spine. These don't look like the other bartonella stretch marks that I developed years ago, which had scarred skin. What do you make of them?
Ignore the faint lines on the left, those are scratches I inflicted myself after I noticed the 2 red lines...to compare and make sure I didn't accidentaly scratch myself there.

One appeared 3 days ago and the other one yesterday, will report back whether they are fading or not.
The stretch marks on my abdomen that LLMD identified ar bart marks never went away, just faded a bit thru the years.

Chamade, are you in bart treatment right now? Do you think that is why these appeared?
Have long have you had bart.....you mentioned some appearing a long time ago.

CD57, yes I am in bart treatment now...using avelox(new generation quinolone) to target bart. Before I tried Levaquin and Rifampin but there was no reaction, certainly not a bart rash popping up. I chatted with another patient in Dr. S.H.'s office and avelox also helpem them a great deal with bart.I had the first rash in my late teens, but I didn't have the obvious neuro symptoms back then so we just wrote it off as some freak event.
I am 28 now and I think I got these bugs 18 years ago when they pulled an engorged tick from my back. Who knows, since I also played a lot with outdoor cats as a child and they used me as their favorite scratching post.
