Do anyone's bones hurt? I'm not talking joint pain, I mean it feels like my bones hurt. Maybe it's nerve pain. I don't know.
The weather here was cold and damp for awhile so I thought it was arthritis type pain but now it's sunny and warm and I still have it....
Especially in my thighs......

I've heard bone pain is related to bartonella but I don't know for sure.
We are all sick in my family. My sister and mother have both complained of bone pain. Not to scare you but both of them have had crumbling bones. My sister had to have 2 pins in her leg this last year. She does not have osteoporosis but when she stood up her bone just crumbled. The doctor (not LLMD) said it happens in some people.
We have no idea why this has happened but keep in mind that none of this may apply to you. I haven't heard of any other lyme patients talking about crumbling bones but I have heard them talk about bone pain. Hopefully others will come by with their experience.
You may want to do a search because I know this has been discussed before.

This can be related to bartonella. I remember my daughter in her early days of the disease saying that her bones just ached.
I had this same feeling when I was diagnosed with parvovirus back in the mid-90s. My daughter also has parvo.
human parvovirus attacks the bone marrow and stops blood production. In my case, I had aplastic anemia. I was very tired and had a lacy rash just under the skin.
With treatment, it went away with my daughter.

this is bart ..yes is deep deep feeling as it is right to thte nerves...bart sends lyme right to the nerous system
When CNS is involved is bart involved
herxing while treating bart and lyme --was so paiful -i could exsplain the pain deep deep on my arm and in my hips and no body would believe ..
it hurts so deep ...i know what you mean...keep treating bart and lyme at the same time...
LEVAQUIN went deeper and got rid of that deeper pain on my bones..ironicly I could not handle it and had to stop..but that cleared some of the worst symtoms...do not stop treating bart as it comes back...

Since I'm treating with Levaquin I have these bone pains, too.
I was wondering if it was the Levaquin itself but now I'm happy to hear that it's the Bart. Makes it easier to support it.

I'm only on Zith. Does that cover bart at all? My doctor doesn't combine abx, just one at a time and I tested negative for bart so I don't know if she'll treat me for it.
