My wife's CD57 Abs. CD8-CD57+ Lymphs came in at:

8/27/2007 - 112
1/29/2008 - 132
4/08/2008 - 161

She has maybe only noticed minor improvements in symptoms. Our doc doesn't expect her to start feeling better until it's over 200. Does anyone else have any experiences they can share on at what point they "turned the corner"?

Thanks!

CD57 is weird.

When I was VERY ill my CD57 was 18. Later it was a 20 and then the newest one from a few months ago was 9! It was strange because the one at 9 was taken when I was feeling rather good at the time, so don't really know what to think about it.

I haven't had it taken for a good while. I want to see where it's at now. Need to remember to ask LLMD to have it tested again.

Wow! Thanks for the response! Are you referring to the "%" number or the "Abs." number?

And, when first diagnosed a couple of years ago, mine was ridiculously high, over 400 or something. Dr. said it was the highest he'd seen. This, despite feeling awful. Dr. said it meant lesser chance of relapse once I'm well. Seemed odd to me.

You can do a search here on the CD57. The numbers are all over the charts. People feeling better with LOW scores, people feeling like dirt with high numbers.

Go figure. I don't think the test means much.
