Our son has had Lyme for 6 years. He's 11. He missed 4 months of school this year. In January we started a new protocol. Since then, he's gradually improved. He's been completely symptom-free for about 8 weeks.

We've had other times where he's felt better. I would say that I haven't seem him this healthy since before the Lyme.

I promised myself and God that if he returned to health, I wouldn't just run from the problem as I've done in the past. If our experience can help anyone in any way, then have it.

So, I haven't been on this site in a while, but I'm returning today to give you his protocol. My desire is to be helpful. You can debate the heck out of whether what we're doing is right or wrong, this won't hurt my feelings a bit. I'm just laying it out there in case it could help someone else going through this torture. Here it is:

3 capsules, 3x/day of the following:

Andrographis
Resveratrol
Cats Claw

"Liquid Needle" Bath Soaks (for detox), we noticed the most significant improvement when this was introduced.

Magnesium - 1 tablet
HMF Super Powder - 1/4 tsp/day
Ground Flax seed

Recently we introduced samento drops 3 drops 3x/day

This protocol was suggested by our Naturopath who read about it in the book, "Healing Lyme".

Our son also has a digital screening every two months or so to see what's happening. His Lyme score has gone from a 7 out of 10 in Nov., to 4.5 in Jan., to a one when we tested him in Feb..

These screenings are so important, as they direct our treatment and tell us what is most optimal for our son at that time.

I don't sell anything that I listed above.

A couple of other interesting things to note are that our son never tested positive for co-infections. Also, he has been on various long courses of antibiotics. Antibiotics did give him some nice symptom-free periods, but they never lasted.

Our son's liver was in poor shape from the Lyme or antibiotics - we'll never know, so we wanted to explore some natural alternatives. We will use antibiotics in the future if and when it seems necessary, but prefer options that avoid them.

If we continue this symptom-free period, I will continue to update every few months. We are pleased and grateful that's he's doing what typical 11-year-old boys do right now, but ever-wary of whether this is the "real deal".

My prayers are with all of those who are suffering with this and the endless other trials life can bring us.

Thank you for the many wonderful people who have knowingly and unknowingly helped us through this site. Communicating is so vital to finding solutions.

Wisconsin,

It is great to hear that your child is doing better!

Thank you for coming back and saying so. We have many parents that post here when they find out that their children are sick, and it is so important for them to know that it will pass, even though it may take a long time.

Thank you.
