I still have not been tested though have a telephone app with a LLD in UK next week. There are a couple of things that are bothering me, and I don't want to waste any money as my problems could possibly be mercury toxicity instead.
The things that I am puzzled about are ; I feel much better in dry warm climates, (yes there is a mold problem) I don't get a lot of headaches, I don't feel any buzzing. However, I do have the migratory joint inflamation, and my endocrine system is shot, I have heart pain and raised liver enzymes with bile problems and many of the other symptoms. But nearly everyone says they are heat intolerant. This makes me confused as bacteria prefer to be kept cool do they not, or is it that heat causes dieback? So why don't I get it?

One way to tell if you have lyme disease, is take a good strong dose of abx (usually a tetra class) exp minocin since its very powerful. Take like say 400mg(minocin) at bedtime with small bread and milk to keep your stom safe. Take it for say 7-21 days and see if you start experiencing joint pains, if you do, I would say you have lyme disease. Paying over the phone for a consult to me seems unwise. If anything, see a doctor in person. I got live blood microscopy though a natualpath doctor and saw the bugs right away. 200.00 Us dollars. The things you talk about do to me, set red flags for lyme disease. Even babs or bart too perhaps.

I'm not sure I understand your question but I'll take a stab at a response.
When people talk about being heat intolerant I think they mean that their body has lost the ability to automatically shift to tolerate different environmental conditions. This can either be due to an immune response that can cause fevers or it can be a result of a hormonal imbalance so the body is no longer as able to regulate.
I don't believe 'heat intolerance' has anything to do directly with the bacteria but instead the systems (i.e. immune, hormone)the bacteria is messing with.
Not sure if that helps...
In my opinion, your symptoms are still in line with possibly Lyme disease

hi James
Thanks but, I cannot take abx, could not before the time I think I got bitten. I was pretty sick before then and had stayed off abx, treating infections by natural means, so I daren't take any now.
I will have to pay $200 for a half hour consult, and $200 for the microscope but as you say, it is best to see the doctor. I'm not happy about it and don't even think the doc is the one for me as I won't be going down the abx route and I need a doc who is experienced in patients who are difficult to treat as i develop sensitivities so easily even to herbs. I guess I just want a quick diagnosis before I spend more money on books and things.
I am too sick to travel much atm and have no-one local (NE UK)I can see.
I am pretty sure it is LD and probably every other single bacteria known to man. But there is a strong mercury component either from damage plus a little stored or a lot to detox probably the later and I don't even know if the damage is too great to do the detox yet.
Thanks Kristin
OK I understand. Thanks.

I wouldn't say the heat intolerance issue is true for everyone. If anything, I'm one of those people who are perpetually cold! Posted by mati (Member # 15233) on :
hi niere
I am always cold too - the only place i feel warm is in Greece ;0

I've got cold tolerance issues, too - my hands get so cold that my nail beds turn blue. Fun fun.
