I found this while going through my medical history one of my positive or suggested positive

It was for an anitbody capture enzyme immunoassay

I showed more then <5 reactivity to anitgens on this test it was done through imugen labs in Ma.

My GP doc said. this means an early/past infection with B. Borgdorferi it also noted on the lab sheet that those results are not consistent with chronic lyme .

My question is what in the name of is B.Borgdorferi does this mean i definalty have lyme or co- infections .

Update in 3 weeks im scheduled to see DR.P in ct looking forward to it as im hearing nothing but good things.

other numbers on the sheet were under antigen B.Burgdoferi and the anitbody type it showed IgM .08 which was highlighted on the lab sheet ??

And for IgG <1 which they circled as normal as well as IgA <1 which they circled normal .

Under the Immunoblot IgG

B. burgdoferi-g39/40 - 85, 68 ,45

B. burgdoferi-49738 - 77, 66 , 41

Can also add a new symptom to the list inner ear swelling or feeling of fullness and pressure no sinus or ear infection present the swelling comes and goes anyone experience this ?

I found the Imugen web site.

http://www.imugen.com/

If you click on "Learn More", then "About Lyme Disease", then "Using the Laboratory for Diagnosis", it'll take you to a very brief overview of their western blot (not that it's a whole lot of help).

I really don't know what to make of it.

Hi,
Just wanted you to know that I too have that pressure in my ears. No pain, just pressure. I wondered if it was from the lyme. I was diagnosed and treated for lyme 2 years ago and have been ill ever since.

I am trying to find a doctor right now. I am sick of being sick.

Good luck to you.

Marsha

If I am reading that correctly, (and I am not sure),

Any positive response (IgM or IgG) is indicative of Lyme.

Have you ever been treated for Lyme?

Try this website and see if you read what I am reading.

www.imugen.com/lyme_laboratory_diagnosis.htm

Hope this site works for you.

If not, I just googled interpreting antibody capture enzyme immunoassay.

Hugs,

Geneal
