Are these two the same vitamin? It sounded to me like our bodies convert cyanocobalamin into methylcobalamin, but I would like to know to know for sure, as many people have recommended methylco shots for combating fatigue.

My doc prescribed me 1 shot a week for 6 weeks. Is one shot a week sufficient? Does anyone on here give themself cyanocobalamin injections? I'm supposed to, but I'm a little worried about it, as I've never injected myself before.

And where do you guys inject? He said the shoulder we be fine, though it sounded like muscular region would suffice.

the methylcobalamin (b12) is often used for the brain. We have had good luck with high dose sublingual b12 thus avoiding the SHOTS...... [Smile]
