NT factor etc. from Researched Nutritionals?? Anyone taking this regularly?
Posted by sparkle7 (Member # 10397) on :
Yes. I've been taking it for a few weeks. I don't know if it's worth the price.
Some things that I take, I can really feel a definite difference. But I haven't noticed much from this one. I'm not sure I'll continue it when it runs out.

Yes. Not sure if it's helping either. My LLMD has me taking 6 a day.

I'm taking a Transfer Factor. I don't think I'll see a big difference for a while, but I can sure feel when I take it.
So, I'm only on one day right now.
Six, huh? I was thinking of maxing out at three!
I'm doing this in conjunction with Vitamin D3
No antibiotics, yet. I'm feeling a pretty good punch with just these two things.

ooh - I had a crazy reaction to the Transfer Factor - my LLMD says my immune system is too confused to try it right now. She was even on the phone with the lead Doctor at Researched Nutritionals about me. I think I officially had the worst reaction to Transfer Factor in history ...sigh...

To clarify:
The NT Factor energy is what I take 6 tablets a day of
The Transfer Factor Multi Immune is what I stay far far away from

Yes Im taking it, twice a day but haven't noticed any improvement on it.

My daughter took this about 2 years ago. After 2 weeks she seemed to have a Lyme flare. Not sure if this was the reason but I would not want her to try it again.

Dr J in Ct said that I need to put my son on transfor Factor for lyme .I got it through another Dr and my son takes 1 on an empty stomack 1 hr before meals.
He can not tell the diference with all the things he is taking.

I think that NT Factor was one of the supps that I brought to ask my LLMD if I could take. I know I ended up NOT taking it. I'm not sure if his response was "I wouldn't bother with it" or "DON'T take it". My Sx were HEAVILY neuro at the time.
Sorry, I can't be of more help. I'd love to hear what others have to say, thanks for posting this.
Oh wait- I just looked at that again. I don't think there was an "etc". Is that a different version of the NT factor? I just got the bottle & I think I'm looking at something entirely different.
"Healthy Aging with High Potency NT Factor" by Nutritional Therapeutics Inc. They have "NT Factor" trademarked.
Are you looking for info on "NT Factor" or "Transfer Factor"?

I take NT Factor. It's good for fatigue.
Wild Condor, I thought you didn't take supps?

I have mixed feelings on NT Factor. Some of the clients take this at the practice where I work. Have not had anyone report significant results. The antibodies are harvested from cow's milk of cow's infected with Lyme disease (borreliosis). There are more humane and cheaper ways to improve the body's antibody response.

NT factor is NOT Transfer Factor!
Here are the ingredients -
NT Factor is a nutrient complex extracted and prepared using proprietary processes. It is composed only of food and food components listed as:
Phosphoglycolipids - includes polyunsaturated phosphatidylcholine, glycolipids and other polyunsaturated phosphatidyl nutrients.
Bifido Bacterium, L. Bacillus, L. Acidophilus - freeze-dried and microencapsulated in a state of suspended animation with potential to form healthy microflora colonies.
Growth Media - foods and bacterial growth factors to support microflora colonies including rice bran extract, arginine, beet root fiber, black strap molasses, glycine, magnesium sulfate, para-amino-benzoate, leek, pantethine (bifido growth factor), taurine, garlic, calcium borogluconate, potassium citrate, calcium sulfate, spirulina, bromelain, natural Vitamin E, calcium ascorbate, alpha-lipoic acid, oligosaccharides, B-6, niacinamide, riboflavin, inositol, niacin, calcium pantothenate, thiamin, B-12, folic acid, chromium picolinate
I can't really tell if it's working yet. I may not be taking enough but I'm taking the recommended dosage on the bottle. I am taking other things - so, it may be effecting me in a subtle way.

My mistake. I confused the two names! Thanks! Rebecca

Is this a particular brand of transfer factor you are referring to?

I take the NT Factor Energy. I don't know if I notice a difference.
I take 6 a day...3 pills 2x/day, 2 hours away from abx because it has magnesium in it.

Hi I found this stuff fantastic...not everyone has such a positive experience as me though. I took two after working long hours and felt the difference about an hr later. Just felt better - more resilient, less burnt out!
I had previously done long courses of Mepron and I have c.pneumonie, lyme so I daresay I needed the cellular boost of nutrients!
I took 6 a day to heal the damage for 4 months and take a maintenance dose of two a day now. I use the same brand you have mentioned.

I took NT Factor, per the recommendation of my LLMD, Dr. Mo in NYC, for awhile....I didn't notice any difference in energy levels with it...However, I was also treating for babesia at the time...
Now, that I've been treating my low DHEA levels (which helped with energy) and boosting my magnesium, I may try it again...I hear it works "really well" for some and others see "no results"...I've also heard it can take several weeks to see any difference for some...hope this helps...

I took it for months, never felt any different on it, and stopped, never felt any different off it either. It was one more expensive thing to try.

I don't take it...I have a bunch of it though..and I wanted to see if anybody wants some free unopened bottles of the stuff? I want to help somebody who really needs it badly and is having a hard time financially. PM me if you want it. Posted by ukcarry (Member # 18147) on :
I have just started taking NT factor [again, this is NOT the same as Transfer factor] after reading more from Garth Nicolson on the improvements in fatigue levels of some people with chronic illnesses, including Lyme, CFS/ME and cancer.
I was attracted to it partly because of GN and partly because NT factor was originally developed to treat Leaky gut.
