I'm on my 3rd month of Mepron and Zith, and I do feel crummy much of the week, but I can manage to get work done. Never was sure if it was Lyme or the medication. Early there was brief night sweating, and a leg pain that comes on in the early morning. But those went away quick. Lately a vertigo, tired, brain fog feeling creeps up on me in the afternoon.
My walking seems worse, but there was a brief few days where my walking got much better. Baffles me. My legs feel heavy, and need to move to get better. Thinking of joing a gym to do some rowing machines, weight machines, sauna, and maybe a water aerobics class.
I have a internet business, and sell appareal related items on Amazon, under the name Barker's Buckles. I can run this business, but it seems to stay in low gear and I tend to do the minimum.
Started B-12 shots, and will be starting Bicillin LA shots next week. Also, take Cats Claw, Resveratrol, Andrograhis, Similax and Phytostan

kgatx- I started a MEPROn thread about 3 weeks ago.
Click on search and read all the posts.
There were many of them,
Everyone has different reactions.
Personally I have never felt worse on Zithro. mepron but that is just me...
GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi kgaTX!
That link to the thread Laurie sm is talking about is:
Update: The first week I had a HARD herx that lasted about 4 days. I'm back in herx and not done with the first bottle yet (lasts 21 days at 2 teaspoons per day.)
It must be working. I still don't mind the taste at all. It's yellow!
Hang-in there!

I never had a bad herx from Mepron - I was fine with it... Maybe I didn't need it though - LMMD was trying to cover all the bases back then

Daise-Thanks for the link...
I think (hope) i am herxing on the mepron.
What are your symptoms?????
I think we both started at around the same time.
It is almost time for a new bottle...
I hate the taste but more than that it makes me nauseas no matter what I eat with it.

Hi Laurie sm,
I get slightly nauseous. No biggie. I don't mind the taste at all. However, I need to remember to wash or lick off my lips ... you know why!
It's hard to say what my signs and symptoms are specifically for babesia, as I'm in the midst of treatment for Lyme, babs and bart. We're concentrating on the babs right now.
