I've haven't been able to get through a day without a nap
of at least 3 hours since I started my new abx. Figure this is a
good sign (I'm also foggy as #E!!)?

Yes it probably is a good sign and your body needs rest right now so listen to it and sleep as much as you need. Napping probably isnt such a bad thing anyway cause it gives us a break from feeling so crappy. I really do think your gonna get better soon since you really didnt go undiagnosed for that long Just try and stay positive. Your probably feeling so crappy lately from the herx-your probably just in one big herx like I am. Posted by von (Member # 8333) on :
addam,
That is how I herx. I sleep and sleep and when I can't sleep I just lay there. I personally don't have a ton of pain...... my family thinks I am doing worse when I do this. But I really don't feel worse, I just cannot move.
Sometimes I feel a lot worse when when I am not herxing. Functioning, but in pain with nausea and bowel trouble. But I guess I look more normal to them.
Go figure

This has happened to me since my new combination of medicine (Bactrim and Biaxin, which supposedly hits Babs).
Example: I wake up at 10:00 a.m. and then by noon I feel extremely heavy, fatigued, exhausted and literally can't keep my eyes open and all I have done so far in the day was sit and eat breakfast.
This is sooooo new for me, too. Never had this problem. Used to be sleepy and tired but never actually so tired that I couldn't keep my eyes open after only two hours of being awake.

Be thankful for the sleep! I spent 4 yrs of lyme treatment WIDE AWAKE and in pain.
Even now, when I get sick.. I'm wide awake. Hate it!

We've been very worried about Adam .. so it gave us false hope.
I would start another thread. The topic stated is not as likely to get you info on certain drugs.
