I read a thread that was explaining what biaxin/plaquenil does.

I am starting on clind/qualaquin(quinine) for 10 days followed by biaxin/plaq for 10 days. Then I repeat the cycle for 10 more + 10 more days.

Okay, I know this is for Babesia. However, can I get a little more explanation of what this all does.

Thanks!

Lily

I think the Biaxin will keep the Lyme at bay and the plaq will work on the cysts, while making the Biaxin more effective.

And of course, the clindy/Q will kill the babs!

Thanks Cheryl.

I might have come across this when I was going through the archives.

I'm still looking for more people who have done this to come forward and give it a yay or nay.......if that makes sense. I hope some people do! Why are Dr. C's patients so hard to find? [Wink]
